If you are looking for a way to speed up this process, have a look at our guide on how to get experience points quickly in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire ;
Infamous Captain
Value: 2 points;
Requirements to unlock it: watch your crew mutiny;
How to get it: As we have already said in other guides, you must always take care to keep the morale of your ship's crew high. The alternative, otherwise, will be a full-scale mutiny. How to get it: Bounties are a type of side quests that you will find in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire , and can be obtained from NPCs as well as any other side quests. Complete 15 and you'll get the trophy. However, we would like to give you a piece of advice: only go for the bounty when your team and crew have been properly developed. Requirements to unlock it: Create a positive relationship with one of your teammates;
How to get it: Despite appearances, this achievement is much less difficult than you might think. In the course of your adventures, you will have to make a considerable number of decisions, and your companions may or may not like them. In case they accept them, you can establish a bond of friendship with that character. The best way to get this trophy is to always be nice to all the NPCs you meet in the game world. In this way, surely one of the four companions will like your actions and want to establish a positive relationship with you;
Burning Bridges
Value: 2 points;
Requirements to unlock it: You get a completely negative relationship with one of your team's characters;
How to achieve it: This achievement represents the exact opposite of what we saw just before. In this case, we're going to have to strongly oppose one of the characters of our party in order to "make us hate". The best and fastest way to unlock this achievement and the previous one is to place two characters in the team, one "good" and one "bad", so that our actions can meet the favor of one and the disadvantage of the other. Obviously the game will inform you about the reactions of the characters to the decisions you make.
Explorer
Value: 3 points;
Requirements to unlock it: name all the islands in the game;
How to get it: this achievement Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is definitely the most "demanding" in terms of time. To get it, in fact, you will have to explore almost the entire game map, and land on all the islands in it. You'll notice that some of these islands are not marked on the map; in this case, as soon as you land, you'll be able to give them a name as you like (the name you give to the island won't have any influence on achieving the goal in question). Discover and name all islands of this type and the achievement will be yours.
Making your Mark
Value: 2 points;
Requirements to unlock it: name the first unexplored island you will land on;
How to get it: this achievement is the "simplified version" of what we saw before. In this case, you'll get it by naming the first unexplored island you come across.
New Gods of Deadfire
Value: 2 points;
Requirements to unlock it: complete the mission "Nemnok the Devourer";
How to get it: You only need to complete the quest indicated to unlock the achievement in question;
Trapper
Value: 1 point;
Requirements to unlock it: set at least 5 traps;
How to get it: Again, getting the achievement will be quite easy. During your adventures you will often have to deal with traps. First of all, you'll need to disable them, and to do so you'll need to have at least one member with the skills to do so in the party. Once you have deactivated the trap, you can pick it up and take it with you. At this point, simply place it in the "Quick Object Menu" and place it where you want it to be. Repeat the procedure five times and the target is yours;
Reach Neketaka
Value: 1 point;
Requirements to unlock it: join Neketaka;
How to get it: Neketaka is one of the most important islands in the game world of Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire . You will be mentioned during the main quest and once you leave the port of Maje, a marker will appear indicating your destination. You only need to dock at the port of Neketaka to get the achievement in question;
Gathering the Pary
Value: 2 points;
Requirements to unlock it: recruit 7 members for your party;
How to achieve it: you will achieve this achievement without much effort, you just need to progress in the main plot of the game. Below is a list of all the main characters that can be used to achieve the goal in question:
- Aloth
- Eder
- Maia Rua
- Pallegina
- Serafen
- Tekehu
- Xoti
If you're looking for a way to speed up the process of getting this trophy, check out our guide on how to recruit new members to your party in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire . We'd like to make one more point: characters who don't have these secondary related quests (what are more commonly referred to as sidekicks), will not be counted for this achievement, but will get you another goal in the game: the achievement called "Recruiter";
Recruiter
Value: 2 points;
Requirements to unlock it: Recruit all four sidekick characters;
How to get it: In the previous achievement we already told you who the sidekicks are. Well, to get this "trophy", we'll just have to recruit all four characters, which will be distinguishable from the others because, simply, they won't bring any secondary quests and you won't be able to establish any connection with them. However, beyond these details, they are practically identical to the other secondary quests mentioned above. You can take them with you by placing them in a special free space in your party, and they can help you both in battle and in the various interactions with the game world;
Any Port in a Storm
Value: 2 points;
Requirements to unlock it: reach all the most important ports in the archipelago;
How to get it: you'll probably get this achievement without even trying very hard. Simply follow the main quest's directions, being careful never to miss an opportunity to dock in any port you come across;
Paradise of the Mind
Value: 2 points;
Requirements to unlock it: complete the "Paradise of the Mind" mission;
How to get it: as mentioned in the description, you simply need to complete the mission in question to achieve the achievement;
Soulbinder
Value: 2 points;
Requirements to unlock it: Unlock all the powers of a Soulbound Artifact;
How to get it: Soulbound items are powerful artifacts that you will find during your adventures in the world of Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire . What sets them apart from other objects is that as you use them, these artifacts will see their stats increase, and often unlock new powers as well. To achieve the achievement in question, all you'll have to do is use a Soulbound artifact as much as possible, until you unlock all of its powers;
