Easy, right? What if we want to customize our ship?
With so many options available for your character, it should come as no surprise that many players also want to customize their ship in No Man’s Sky Next . Unfortunately, no one has been able to find any way to customize the ship in No Man’s Sky Next .
Can you customize your ship in No Man's Sky?
The short answer: no. Unfortunately, there's really no way to customize your ship in No Man's Sky, other than to change weapons technology and determine the name of the vehicle. Other than that, though, there really isn't much you can do to customize it.
However, the upside of this is that you can always get your hands on another ship, and getting one can be both a simple and complex process. Saving a lot of money, you can buy any ship from any NPC pilot you meet during your travels.
You can also find abandoned ships that have crashed on the surface of the planets. If repaired completely, these items can be acquired and used as your personal ship. Keep in mind that doing so will cause you to abandon the vehicle in your possession, so make sure you don't lose a large amount of resources or items.
Other than that, however, there are no ways to customize the look of your ship or choose the type of colors painted on it. You'll have to deal with what's available or start looking for a new ship in kind. The good news is that you can always find many ships around space stations and, many times, buying one from an NPC will already give you the elements and technology you need.
