Inside the Colosseum, you'll face off against special versions of the classic mini-bosses. These guys are actually pretty tough you might want to learn how to use the power up system in. For each additional bonus you collect, it will be added to your inventory in the lower left corner of the screen. Press [D-Pad] to pause the action, then press left / right to select the power-on you want to use. Bowser Jr. will instantly throw this power-up at you, helping you escape a lot of jams.

Chat Shine # 1: Swim in the right side of the Colosseum to reach the arena - or wait for Giga Bowser to appear and create a springboard near the cat door. In the arena itself, a Cat Boom Boom will appear! This one is harder than normal Boom Booms - it becomes invisible. Just wait for it to stop spinning and then jump on its head. Do it three times to win.
Cat Piece # 1: From the cat-eared front door, the first room is under the left door.
Cat Piece # 2: Reach inside the arena. In one of the alcoves of the closed window there is a coin.
Cat Piece # 3: Under the arena itself! Look on the opposite side of the steps.
Cat Piece # 4: On the high walls of the arena.
Cat Piece # 5: The last piece floats above the arena. Climb the high walls with Cat Mario, then climb on the flinger launcher (in front of the lighthouse) to throw yourself towards the room in the center.
Chat Shine # 2: Collect the 5 cat coins to earn this shard.
Chat Shine # 3: Come back to the level later and you will see that the Colosseum has grown! It is now two levels high. Enter the arena to fight Cat Pom Pom this time - she spawns copies of herself. Aim for the version with a shiny pink ninja star. Blue stars are fakes.
Chat Shine # 4: Once the tower is completely out of the water, you will find the Bowser Blocks in the back left corner of the cat ear door.
Chat Shine # 5: The final glow is back in the Colosseum. Head back to the arena - this time it's covered in spikes. This is another fight against Cat Boom Boom, but spikes will emerge from the ground during the battle. Boom Boom also summons additional red shells that bounce during combat. Fill up on power-ups and use them by pressing [[D-Pad: today] when you take too much damage.
