The Mario Kart Touring Cups offers three different tracks and a bonus focused on a specific technique to complete a course. One of the challenges for Mario Kart Tour requires you to earn a score of 20 or more on the Rosalina Cup, and unfortunately the bonus track at the end of the cup does not count towards the total.
You must first reach the Rosalina Cup. This is the fourth cup from the start, so you have to go through all the cups before to earn enough stars to get there.
When you do, you must have your total of each of the races to reach 20. It is not an easy feat, and it might take you several attempts going through each one. Here are the tracks from this cup and their favorite drivers:
- Cheep Chee Lagoon: Baby Peach, Black Shy Guy et Rosalina
- Frappe Snowland T: Peach (Wintertime) and Penguin Luigi
- Vanilla Lake 1R: Ice Mario
The last two courses in this cup favored the hard-to-acquire riders from the game. Favorite riders are the best you can have on a track as they have the potential to use three item boxes and activate frenzy mode. . In this mode, they quickly draw a unique ability that can easily earn them a fair amount of points during a run.
You might want to check the drivers that are given two items and focus on using them to get 20 points. To achieve this goal, you must achieve a score of at least 000 or higher. If there is a particular trail that you can reach higher than this goal, you can slack off on one of the other two. There are several ways to increase your Mario Kart Tour score:
- Have a higher level of driver, vehicle or glider
- Hit other pilots with objects while playing
- Collect coins
- Hit a drift to get a boost
- Perform a jump boost
- End at a higher location, such as the first
- Hit the snowmen
You want to try and weave a lot of these elements together to create combos. The higher the combos during a race, the more your score increases at the same time. For example, you can cycle through a series of snowmen or coins to increase your combo and keep drifting until you're ready to let it go. When you release the drift, try tilting it so you're about to hit a jump boost or hit another player so you can continue the combo ending with another drift. It takes a lot of work to properly use the drift, but it's a great way to increase your combo.
You'll have to go through these tracks multiple times, learning their angles, where they spawn boxes of coins and items, and the best ways to increase your score. When you reach 20, the badge should appear on your challenge card.
