How to Complete the Week 1 TOTW Challenge
The Madden 1 Week 21 TOTW Challenge requires you to use your already existing squad plus Davante Adams to beat the Minnesota Vikings while using the Green Bay Packers playbook. On top of that, there is a bonus challenge for passing over 156 yards in the contest. It might not sound too intimidating, but it's not the easiest thing to do, especially if you're trying to play All-Pro and get the maximum bonus, which is what you absolutely want to do.
This challenge already cuts the clock down to three-quarters of a minute, which the opponent can cut down very quickly if you have a hard time stopping them. In fact, if you're really having a hard time stopping them, you can only get two or three goods in the entire game.
Rather than a toss, you will automatically receive the ball to initiate this challenge. For the purposes of this guide, we'll be focusing on trying to complete the bonus challenge and the star, as that will be the hardest thing. Since you need to go over 156 yards, you'll basically have to start each part if you're only expecting to get a few drives for the game.
The best strategy here is to always take the kickoff rather than letting it go out at 25, as that will only leave you with 75 yards to earn that disc, which is less than half of what we need. Instead, run the ball no further than the 20 here. From there you just want to start moving as much as you can and as quickly as possible. If you manage to score before the end of the first quarter, you're in good shape.
For the purposes of this challenge, I personally like the Four Verticals game in the Gun Empty Base Flex playset. This one gives you deeper options with the tight end position being a pretty good target most of the time here. If nothing is opened deep, Davante Adams also serves as an excellent safety valve here. If you'd rather have Adams on the outside because he's more talented than most of your other receivers if your team isn't up to it yet, this is something you can do with the submarines as well. training. I like this game just for its versatility and it tends to get you down the pitch quickly.
On the defensive side, you want to do your best to stop the opposing defense as best you can. Kirk Cousins will tear your defense apart if you're not careful, so maybe try some things like pressing the defense or forcing him to make bad throws. If you just let Cousins sit in the pocket too long, he'll find receivers open all day, especially if your team's rating is low.
Your objective here will be to try to score before the end of the first quarter and then try to force the opponent to return the ball to you with a little time in the first half. Even if you are having trouble scoring a TD, now is a great time to try and increase your passing yardage total. If you don't get the ball back in the first half, you really need to make the most of your possession in the second half. That's why I recommend that you start no further than the 20 yard line on any player, while making sure you never throw the ball with your QB or HB as we need passing yards.
This is one of those challenges that you might have to try a few times if you're struggling to see if you might get lucky, as playing on All-Pro can certainly be tough if your team doesn't. has not enough good players yet. in MUT.
