According to some recently leaked reports, it appears that Apple want to integrate a side touch ID key on its next devices iPhone. Let's find out all the details and on which devices it could integrate this new function.
Apple would like to integrate a side touch ID button on iPhone devices
In recent years, Apple has used various methods for improve the biometric experience of users. We have seen Apple use the Physical button Home, touch ID and the solution of Face ID 3D facial recognition. In the current iPhone product line, only the iPhone SE mantiene the Home button again. However, it appears that this situation will change very soon.
Some reports of a previous patent Apple have been updated. In the new modified image, which you can see above, we can see three iPhone modes: the smartphone bloccatoThe smartphone during the unlocking phase and finally the smartphone unlocked.
The patent clearly mentions that the device integrates the power button with the recognition sensor side fingerprint. Since the current iPad Air 4 has already launched the side fingerprint, there is reason to believe that Apple Possa integrate it on additional iPhone and iPad devices.
According to Kuo Ming-Chi, Apple is still testing fingerprint sensors under the screen.
Of course, we don't expect Apple's next iPhone with a side fingerprint sensor to be a flagship. If Apple decides to use this solution, it will likely be on its own cheapest iPhone SE series.
Various sources believe that, probably, the'iPhone SE 3 will come with this feature.
