The first concept was presented at CES in Las Vegas in 2017. Since then Hyndai has not been left with hand and hand and today proposes the definitive version of his 100% electric scooter.
Great autonomy
The main feature of this new electric scooter, which awaits an official name, is the presence of one 10.5 Ah lithium battery which allows him an autonomy of 20 km when launched at the maximum speed of 20 km / h. There is also room for passive safety with the integration of front and rear lights to make the scooter and driver more visible in poor light conditions.
Rear-wheel Drive
Another novelty concerns the displacement of the rear wheel drive than the front one chosen by most electric scooter manufacturers. According to Hyundai, this gearbox allows for better safety and stability, since the weight is more centered on the back of the scooter. They have also been added suspension in the front wheel to be able to deal with uneven surfaces with more fluidity.

Weight and digital display
The total weight of the Hyundai electric scooter is 7,7 kg, and like other models on the market it can be folded to be easily placed even in the trunk of the car when not in use. It also offers a digital display where speed and battery status are displayed.
Hyundai intends this scooter could be integrated into future Kia and Hunday cars, and once stored in the car after use the same is recharged autonomously using the electricity produced by the car.
DongJin Hyun, head of Hyundai Motor Group's Robotics Team, commented: “This is our personal scooter idea that could be present on future Hyundai Group models. We want to make our customers' lives as simple and enjoyable as possible. Our electric scooter also makes the last part of each trip fun, contributing in the meantime to reducing traffic and emissions in urban centers ”.
