Valence Fusion in Warframe is a system that allows you to merge two Kuva Lich weapons to improve them. The Valence Fusion process will replace the innate damage bonus of one Kuva weapon with that of another Kuva weapon of the same type. The donor weapon is destroyed and the upgraded weapon will have its innate damage bonus replaced with that of the donor weapon.
The good news is that any upgrades to the weapon you want to upgrade will remain. Formas, Catalysts, and Focus Lens will remain intact, along with mod setups, weapon appearance, and Lich's name. Although the innate damage type is changed, the damage bonus itself will be slightly improved.
Valence Fusion Now also increases the innate damage bonus of your Kuva weapons. Examples from recent Patch 27.1.0 patch notes are shown below:
- Your Kuva Kohm with 25% damage can be injected into your weapon at 40%, making it 44%
- Your Kuva Kohm with 40% damage can be injected into your weapon at 25%, to make it 44%
- Your Kuva Kohm with 25% damage can be injected into your weapon at 44%, making it 48,4%
Over time, you can increase bonus damage to a maximum of 60%. The important thing to keep in mind with the process is that you keep the weapon that you start the fusion process from.
To perform a Valence Fusion, follow the steps below:
- See you in your arsenal
- Go to the desired Kuva weapon upgrade screen
- Select ACTIONS then the new option VALENCE TRANSFER
- Select the Kuva weapon you wish to consume
- Type TRANSFER in the prompt to confirm consumption - this also displays the buff you are replacing
A message will appear on the screen telling you what the bonus percentage and damage type of the final version of the weapon will be, it will not be confirmed until you type "Transfer" and click OK to confirm the action.
Below you'll find a full list of Kuva weapons that can take advantage of this system, and remember, you need two Kuva weapons of the same type to be able to do a Valence Fusion.
