While all Xbox and Switch gamers are taking Spellbreak for the first time, but many PC and Playstation 4 users are coming back from closed alpha and beta. If you're already a user invited to login or create a new account, here's what you need to know.
- Do not try to "log in" or "reset password". The account you are asked to create is not a new file, but a whole new type of account. You want to create a new account. This account will give you a unique ID for cross progression and cross play now that the game is available on more platforms.
- You must be on your platform where you had the previous unlocks. If you've already created an account on another platform, don't panic. You can just log into the correct platform afterwards, and everything will update afterwards, but you can't fetch them just from a different platform.
- Outfits, badges, titles. These are all the main things that will impact the alpha / beta phase. The titles you can have are Pre-Alpha Tester and Alpha Tester, depending on when you joined, and you can have a plethora of badges. You'll also get all outfits from the Founder's Pack or any other pack you've purchased.
- Clean slate. The thing that doesn't carry over is your level. Everyone is reset to level 1 and any unlocks you received through the act of leveling up will be removed. There's no way to change this, but it shouldn't be too hard to get these things back.
- Friends list. Your Friends List will also be reset, as with cross play it will no longer be able to fit into your Epic or PS List. But with the new ID system, it's easy to add a friend again.
Overall, don't let not being able to access an account for Spellbreak scare you. Content outside of your level and leveled items is there, and creating a new account just means getting a crossplay ID for your existing account.
