We have seen how Instagram always enjoys implementing new functions for its users. For example, in this new guide today we will explain specifically how to share Instagram memories, one of the latest features introduced by the developers.
Premise
Before seeing the specific steps we wanted to tell you that this feature comes in the form of a server-side update, so, in case you don't have it, you won't have to do weird operations like downloading the latest APK of the Instagram app for Android smartphones and tablets. At the time of publication of this guide, the team of developers made the feature available to only a few users.
How to share memories on Instagram
After the premise we can now find out the steps to follow for access and share a memory through the official application available for Android, iOS e 10 Windows Mobile. Since the software interface are almost identical (they differ only in some option names), the steps we are going to list below will be valid for all 3 supported operating systems.
Having said that, let's see how to proceed:
- Open the app of Instagram pressing on its icon and then tapping on little heart at the bottom right to access the notifications screen where there are likes, comments and other requests received.
- At this point, locate the section Today o Yesterday and look for the voice See the post you posted exactly 1 year ago. If there is, it means that you have access to the new functionality of the photographic social network.
- To see the post, simply tap on the scritta indicated earlier. A screen identical to the one will open automatically stories where you can share the memory through stories, with close friends or send it to a specific user by first pressing on Send to and then on the button Send in correspondence with your username.
Before proceeding with sending, however, you can change the memory adding stickers, smilies, writings, drawings and so on, as if it were a normal one Stories. Finally, we specify that the screen shows the shared image and the writing Remember with the exact date when the post was published (eg. Memories 21 Jan 2018).
