Is registering on Mediaset Play free?
Before going into the details of this guide and explain yourself how to register on Mediaset Play, you may find it useful to know what you need to create an account on the video streaming service offered by Mediaset and, above all, if you have to incur costs to do this.
Let's start: first of all, you must know that Mediaset Play is a completely free service that allows you to consult the TV guide and, by creating an account, also to watch the channels of the "biscione" group live, as well as access a rich catalog of content on demand.
Furthermore, registering with Mediaset Play allows you to use some additional features, such as the function Restart, to restart any program still on the air from the beginning and to add the contents of your interest to the favorites list, with the ability to continue viewing any content exactly where it left off.
Use Mediaset Play without registering
If you are wondering if it is possible use Mediaset Play without registering, the answer is yes. However, as mentioned in the previous paragraphs, to watch Mediaset TV channels live (eg Canale 5) and access the on-demand content of your interest without any limitation, you need to register.
If you don't intend to create an account, you should know that you can still consult the TV guide, watch clips of your favorite shows and access some content that does not require registration. In this case, connected to the main page of Mediaset Play or start the app for Android and iOS devices, press the ☰ button located at the top right (in the bottom menu on smartphones and tablets) and choose the option TV Guide give the menu to compare.
If, on the other hand, you want to watch the clips or contents that do not require registration, press the ☰ button and choose one of the categories available from Magazine, Play Cult, documentaries e Kids. Then press the ▶ ︎ button to start playing the content of your interest and that's it.
Register on Mediaset Play from your computer
Register on Mediaset Play from your computer it's a quick and easy procedure. All you need to do to create an account is to fill in the registration form with your personal data or, alternatively, choose quick registration via a Facebook account or a Google account.
Before indicating the detailed procedure for creating your account, it will be useful to know that if you have already registered on one of the Mediaset sites or applications, come Infinity, TGCOM24, SportMediaset e Reservoir Dogs, you can access Mediaset Play using the same credentials. In this case, connected to the main page of Mediaset Play and click on the button Log in which is located at the top right, then enter the data in your possession in the fields Email e Password and press the button again Log in, to log into your account.
If, on the other hand, you have never registered on any Mediaset service, click on the button Log in located at the top right and, in the new open page, click on the option Sign Up present under the heading Not registered?. Now, choose whether to register using yours Facebook account, for an Google account or using a email address.
In the first case, click on the button Login related to Facebook and press on the item Continue eat [nome] to allow Mediaset Play to access the information associated with your Facebook account (profile picture, date of birth, city of origin, current city e email address).
In the Complete your Mediaset account details, fill in the missing data in the fields Username, Full name, Last name, Birthday e Gender and put the check mark next to the items I do not agree (to avoid receiving promotional emails from Mediaset). Then click on the button Sign Up And that's it.
If you prefer quick registration via your Google account, click on the buttons Log in e Sign Up e scegli l'opzione Google. On the screen Scegli an accountselect l 'Google account of your interest (or choose the option Use an altro account) and, in the new open page, enter the missing data in the fields Username, Full name, Last name, Birthday e Gender.
Then place the check mark next to one of the options available between I agree o I do not agree, to choose whether or not to receive promotional emails from Mediaset, and click on the button Sign Up, to create your account on Mediaset Play.
If, on the other hand, you prefer the classic registration via email, connected to the official website of Mediaset Play, click on the button Log in located at the top right and press on the item Sign Up. On the new page opened, fill out the registration form by entering your personal data in the fields Email address, Username (not required), Password, Full name, Last name (not mandatory) and specify your date of birth via the drop-down menus Preferred Date, Month e Year.
If you wish, enter yours as well birth place in the appropriate field and specify your gender by placing the check mark next to one of the options available between Male e Female. Then place the check mark next to the item I do not agree to avoid receiving promotional emails from Mediaset and click on the button Sign Up.
Now, log into your mailbox, locate the email sent by Mediaset and click on the button Activate account contained within it, in order to confirm your identity, activate your account and complete the registration.
Register on Mediaset Play from smartphones and tablets
register on Mediaset Play from smartphones and tablets just start the Mediaset Play app for Android or iOS devices and choose the recording solution of your interest.
To proceed, start the app in question (if you haven't downloaded it yet, my guide on how to download Mediaset Play might be useful), press on the item My Area visible in the main menu and tap the button Log in.
In the new screen that appears, if you have previously registered on the site or via the app Infinity, of TGCOM24, of SportMediaset or Reservoir Dogs, enter your login credentials in the fields Email e Password and press pulsating Log in to access Mediaset Play without creating a new account.
If, on the other hand, you have never registered on a site or app of the Mediaset group, click on the item Sign Up e scegli l'opzione Login, to register via your Facebook account, or the option Google, to create a new account on Mediaset Play using your Google account.
Regardless of the choice made, in the screen displayed after pressing the button Continue or have selected yours Google account, enter the missing data in the appropriate fields and press the button Sign Up to create your account.
If you prefer to register using your email address, click on the option My Area, tap the buttons Log in e Sign Up and, on the screen Create your Mediaset account, enter the required data in the fields Email address, Password, Full name, Last name (not mandatory) e Birthday (via drop - down menus Preferred Date, Month e Year). Now, specify yours gender of belonging, put the check mark next to the items I do not agree to avoid receiving promotional emails from Mediaset and press the button Sign Up.
Within a few moments you will receive an email containing an activation link: then click on the button Activate account to activate your account, complete the registration and start watching the content of your interest on Mediaset Play. Register on Mediaset Premium Play
If you are a Mediaset Premium customer and you are wondering how to register on Mediaset Premium Play, you should know that the service is no longer available as of June 1, 2022. However, you can continue to see the channels included in your subscription and access Premium Play on-demand content on Infinity, Mediaset's online service.
All you have to do is connect to the page of the official Infinity website dedicated to Premium customers and click on the button Login, enter the credentials that were sent to you via email (and also via written communication) in the fields Email e Password and press the button again Login.
