GTA Online gives you a grand and ridiculous satire of American culture that you can live in for years to come. When you're not busy being the CEO of a criminal organization, you can relax and live your best life upstairs in a luxury apartment. Bored? Get out there and hit a shark or something. Or play a game with your friends. Play catch the flag. Play catch the flag on planes!
Instead of being called Capture the Flag: Fighter Plane Edition, it's called Stockpile, and you can currently get triple the money and RP to play GTA Online.
How to join a Stockpile match
You can find the matching tab for Stockpile by going to your online menu and then searching for jobs created by Rockstar. Stocks can be found in opponent mode. There are seven different types of Stock that you can play, but the only difference between them is the card, and each will earn you three times XP and RP.
How to play Stockpile
The stock is basically a wild aerial version to capture the flag. Each match will start by putting you in a cockpit and in a team. There can be up to four teams in a given match. Each team must collect the most flags (in this case the flags are floating golden briefcases) and return them to their color-coordinated goal post in order to score points. The team with the most points at the end of the round wins.
Since this is GTA Online, of course, your plane is equipped with weapons. You will get both machine guns and guided missiles which you can use to take out your opponents. By shooting your opponents, you can make them drop a flag they've captured and steal it from them. You can also fly flags from enemy goal posts.
This is crucial when it comes to earning Stockpile. Matches can get chaotic quickly, but here are a few strategies you'll want to keep in mind:
- Play offensively: There is no reason to camp and defend your goal post. in general, the team that wins is the one that allows everyone to receive flags as quickly as possible.
- Be aggressive. You have guns. Use them. Especially your missiles.
- Use the elevation to your advantage: if everyone is busy blowing themselves up while being very close to the ground, keep a certain height, and vice versa.
- Expand your minimap to get a better idea of where your opponents are. It can be complicated to do this, but knowing who is after you is essential.
Winning a round will net you $ 24. The loss will net you $ 000. It's all a chunk of change for a few minutes and Stockpile can actually be pretty fun. Enjoy triple rewards during their duration!
