Perks are an essential Call of Duty mechanic. They diversify players into multiplayer matches, giving them distinct in-game advantages against other players. You can have multiple of these attached to your character, making them fast runners, better shooters, or even faster with reload weapons. You can choose these perks to customize your playstyle. Can you take these perks with you in the game Battle Royale, Warzone, and if so, how do you get them?
All players start with nothing but a pistol when they enter the game. You can play alone with a team of three. From there, you must explore the map for caches to equip yourself with new weapons, armor, grenades, and specialist gear to give yourself and your teammates an advantage against the 150 or so other players attempting to be the last ones standing. Along the way, you also try to grab some cash that you can use in the in-game store to purchase exclusive upgrades.
One of these upgrades lets you summon a drop box where you can choose from one of your 10 custom loadouts. The charging box costs $ 6 at the buying station. That way, rather than relying on the random weapons and gear you find on the map, you now have access to the gear in that loadout. You also receive all the benefits of this loadout, which gives you another advantage against other players. However, when you spawn the cargo crate, everyone on the map can see its location. You essentially place a large target on your back, letting everyone know your location, and they can also freely use it to grab a load from their custom list.
There is a trade-off in receiving the perks of the game, but if your team can prepare for their best loadouts and have perks attached to their characters, it's well worth the trade.
