Intel Missions have become a new trend in Call of Duty Season 4 for Warzone players. These missions provide small chunks of information for players to uncover on the map to find items they can interact with to learn more about the background story happening on the Warzone map, Verdansk. Unfortunately, after retrieving the piece of information, some players have encountered the problem that their connection drops, or they are excluded from the game. Despite receiving the information, this will not count towards their mission. Even after returning to the exact location and retrieving the information, it doesn't count, keeping them stranded on the mission objective with no way to progress.
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to try and restart your progress. You cannot continually go back to the Intel part and try to get it again, and you cannot uninstall your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game from your hardware to play with a fresh install. Several gamers have tried it on Reddit, and many keep asking what is the best way to fix this problem. You need to contact Activision Support for Call of Duty to have them fix things for you.
You need to visit the Activision Support Page for Call of Duty and choose Call of Duty: Warzone from the drop-down menu, then choose which platform you encounter the bugged Intel missions on. From the five options available for the subject of your ticket, choose Call of Duty Game Performance. For the final choice, your problem, you want to choose "I am having a problem that is not listed" and then you will be given the option to speak with an Activision agent if available. You may need to refresh the page several times to find a suitable time when an Activision agent is available to assist you.
Because you might have to wait quite a while for an Activision agent to become available, another choice is to visit the Call of Duty Warzone Bug page to leave a message directly about the bug. This may not be the best solution, but contacting Activision about the problem and notifying it could provide a professional solution.
Apart from the direct intervention of Activision, there is no exact method to deal with bugged Intel missions. Fortunately, not completing one week's missions doesn't prevent you from participating in the next.
