Google Books is an immense archive of contents to read and browse in moments of relaxation!
Like any self-respecting bookstore, the service offered by the big Mountain View allows you to have access to titles from any compatible device, from Android to Windows, via Mac and all other operating systems via browser.
Sometimes it may be convenient to download titles from Google Books locally, so you can read them offline and share them with your friends. Unlike what happened long ago, today downloading books from Google Books is extremely easy and can be done in two ways: both from the web and from an external application.
Let's see how!
Download books from Google Books - Web (ePub or PDF)
Let's go to Google Books using the link below ...
LINK | Google Play Books
and look for the book we want to download. Click on the most relevant result of Google Books and buy it (even if it is free, we will have to carry out the purchase procedure at a cost of 0.00 €); alternatively, on paid books, we will be able to access the free preview (if available on Google Books) by clicking on "Free Preview".
Now let's go to our library ("My books") and click on the three dots corresponding to the book we intend to download. We select Download as an ePub or download as a PDF depending on our preference!
We will have to repeat the same procedure for each book we want to download from Google Books.
Downloading books from Google Books - Google Book Downloader (JPEG on Windows)
A good alternative for downloading books is to use this small but efficient program; Unlike the previous method, Google Book Downloader allows you to download books from Google Books in PNG format. Each PNG file corresponds to a page of the book. We can download with this small application only if the book is free or has a preview; in the latter case, the preview will be downloaded.
Doing it is simple: first let's download Google Book Downloader from the link below. You will need to have the .NET 3.5 framework installed.

Now let's open the program, which will look like this:
Let's go to our library and click on the book to download; we copy the address from the browser and paste it in the "Google Book URL" box. In the next field, choose the save folder and click on Download to download the text in PNG format.
Didn't we find the book we were looking for? We can search for free eBooks in english using one of these suggested sites; if we still haven't found anything, we can search among the many books in PDF, among the manga or in the newspaper & comic archive!
