Despite being a social network focused on photos and videos, Instagram still allows you to write and communicate with other users using the appropriate sections.
In these cases, however, it could happen to make a mistake in writing a message for the most disparate reasons. In this regard, let's see how delete messages posted on Instagram or sent via the Direct application.

Instagram allows us to write messages in different contexts and on different platforms. Let's see how to move according to the situation in which we find ourselves.

Let's start with the general case, that is, the one it includes deleting an entire conversation happened on Instagram.
App Instagram
To delete a conversation directly from the Instagram app, you need to tap on the appropriate icon at the top right, perform one prolonged pressure of the conversation of interest and, in the following popup, choose the item Remove.
App Direct
If, on the other hand, we have installed the application reserved exclusively for the chat of the social network in question, the procedure is very simple.
Once the app is open, just run one prolonged pressure on the conversation of our interest and tap on the item Remove.
Cancel sending a message
It can happen that you make mistakes when sending a message, sending it to the wrong person or making grammatical errors. Instagram allows in this regard to cancel the sending of a message without any time limit.
App Instagram
From the main screen of the app, we tap on the icon Direct top right. Here we choose the chat that contains the offending message.
At this point all that remains is to perform a long press on the latter and select the item Cancel sending the message.
App Direct
Using the dedicated app, just enter the chat containing the message, press and hold on it and tap on Cancel sending the message.
PC
Also in this case, after going to the chat section, it is necessary to perform a prolonged click on the message we intend to delete and also click here on Cancel sending the message.
Delete a comment
The last section that allows you to communicate with other users is clearly that of comments. Here too it is possible to delete what we write in a few simple steps.
On the Instagram app, it will be enough to go to the post in question, press and hold the comment you want to delete and tap on the trash can symbol at the top right. On the PC, on the other hand, just click with the right mouse button and select the Delete item.
