If you've had enough of Google and all the personal information it pulls out on a daily basis through your internet searches and location history, or if you simply don't care anymore about keeping your Gmail account open in high school or college, no problem.
In the guide that follows I will offer you a simple and above all quick way that will allow you, in a few steps, to delete a Google account. You will only need the data relating to the account you want to delete (username and password) combined with a little patience. Let's begin!
Google account access and deletion
- Open your browser and log into the Gmail account you want to delete.
- By clicking on the icon at the top right, access the panel of your data and click on "Personal account".
You will be redirected to the page dedicated to your account which contains. 
- On the right side of the page you will see a tab dedicated to "Account preferences", Click on the last item"Delete your account or your services".
- At this point, you will find yourself on the page "Delete your account or your services".
- Click on "Delete Google account and data".
- You will be prompted to enter your username and password, then click on "NEXT".
- At the end of the procedure you will receive a confirmation e-mail for the deletion of the account containing a link.
- Click on the link to complete the process.
What if I change my mind?
In case you regret deleting the account, go to the page dedicated to restore Google accounts. Enter the email address you would like to restore and Google will notify you (immediately or via an email sent to your back-up address) that the restore has occurred.
