Google nowadays can boast a very substantial number of services offered to its users ranging from the most disparate categories. Email, archiving, analysis tools, augmented reality, entertainment and so on and so forth.
Personally, among the products that I usually use every day, I find Google Photos the one that best suits my habits and that gives me exactly what I need without having to pay a penny. Precise cataloging of photos, automatic creation of collages, videos and animations and, what I love most of all, recognition of framed elements and subjects that allow a truly immediate search.
In particular, all the automatic functions offered by the assistant can also be used manually and, among these, today we will see how create your own GIF with Google Photos.
Google Photos GIF creation
The steps to follow are extremely simple and allow, starting from a series of photos, to create a nice animation to be saved on the cloud and downloaded to our PC, smartphone or tablet.
First, you need to go to the official website on your PC or download the Google Photos application for smartphones and tablets and log in with your Google account.
Download| Google Photos for Android from Play Store
Download| Google Photos for iOS from the App Store
Once you enter the main gallery, you have to choose the images with which to compose our animation.
Your pc
With the mouse, click on the check mark that appears at the top left of each photo to start selecting them. Once you have chosen all those of our interest, click on the + button at the top right and, in the following menu, select the Animation item.
Your Smartphone
By holding down on one of the photos of our interest, we will start the selection mode. We plug all those we intend to use and, once finished, we plug on the + key and select the Animation item.
After waiting the time necessary for the creation of the GIF, when the operation is completed this will be shown immediately and will be saved on the cloud. At this point, we can choose whether to download it or not by tapping the appropriate button at the top right.
This is the result of the processing carried out by Google Photos! If you have any doubts, questions or just want to have your say, the invitation, as always, is to leave a comment below.
