How to activate Nvidia Reflex in Call of Duty Warzone

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 update will add tons of new content, including new characters, weapons and more. One of the coolest additions in the update was Nvidia Reflex.

Nvidia Reflex was revealed by Nvidia alongside Ampere GPUs. The technology consists of "a new set of APIs that allow game developers to reduce and measure rendering latency." In simpler terms, games that incorporate the technology will have significantly lower click-to-view latency. Latency can make a huge difference in the gaming experience, especially in competitive games, so this technology can prove to be revolutionary if it works well.

To activate Nvidia Reflex in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone, you must first make sure that the game and your graphics drivers are up to date. Keep in mind that Nvidia Reflex is supported by GTX 900 series and later. Once your graphics drivers are up to date, you will have the Low Latency Mode feature on your system.

Enabling low latency mode

How to activate Nvidia Reflex in Call of Duty Warzone

Right click on the Nvidia icon in the taskbar and click on Nvidia Control Panel. Under 3D Settings, select Manage 3D Settings. On the Global Settings tab in Manage 3D Settings, select Low Latency Mode. There will be 3 options - Off, On and, Ultra. Here's what each option means.

  • De - Gives priority to rendering speed, allowing games to queue images.
  • Public chat- Gives priority to latency by limiting queued frames to 1.
  • Ultra - This completely minimizes queued frames and priority latency. It also minimizes VSync latency when VSync and G-Sync are enabled.

To activate Nvidia Reflex in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, you need to head to the game options menu. Under the Graphics tab, scroll down and you will see the Nvidia Low Reflex Latency Option. There are three options to choose from: Off, On, On + Boost.

  • désactivé - Low latency mode will be disabled.
  • Enabled - Low latency mode will be activated and optimize system latency.
  • Enabled + Boost- Low latency mode will be activated and optimize system latency. It also increases the GPU clock in CPU dependent scenarios, which significantly reduces latency. However, you may see your GPU consuming more power and running slightly warmer when activated.

It is recommended to keep it on Enabled + Boost for the best performance, but if you find that your GPU is running at higher temperatures after enabling it, you can opt for Enabled mode instead.
