But what is the difference between home automation and smart home?
These two terms seem difficult to understand, but the reality is that they are becoming commonplace, entering our homes more and more often. We have therefore decided to help you understand what they consist of, as well as the characteristics that distinguish them. Let's start immediately by anticipating (spoilers!) Home automation

Applies to individual components of the house, such as light bulbs, motion sensors or others.
The smart home is born slowly, it can evolve or change with new products, it is cheaper than the home automation house and is simple to manage. In fact, thanks to the applications or with the use of voice assistants it is really child's play.
Making your home “smart” is a project without time limits and above all do-it-yourself, something that home automation does not allow (unless you are a specialized electrician). To get started, for example, you could buy some smart light bulbs, or venture straight into installing a smart wall switch replacing the traditional one. Then, you may decide to add one smart socket, motion sensors, or a temperature sensor that you turn on the heating when it's too cold. The accessories are endless and only your imagination is the real limit of a smart home.
