GreedFall - How to run your party

Party management is an essential aspect of GreedFall. You have a choice of companions that you will gather as you play. Each companion has his abilities and his strengths, his loyalty and his desires.

It's a good idea to determine which members belong to your party based on your current mission. You want to make sure that you are also helping your companions with their own goals.

GreedFall - How to run your party

To run your party, you need to be at home or at a camp. Approaching the campfire icon, you will see the option to gather your companions. Click the Guest button, and all of your available companions will line up. Go to one of them and press the button that is asked to compose your team.

From this screen, you can choose the members of your group. You can only have a maximum of two of them in your party at a time. It is generally helpful to have a member of any group that you interact with a lot. If you are planning to visit the natives, Siora is a great person to take as she may make your way easier with the natives of Teer Fradee.

You want to have as much variety as possible in your party's fighting style. A mix of magical users, gun owners, and people with giant swords is therefore a safe bet.

You must also have a companion in your party for specific missions. Pay close attention to the different cutscenes and dialogue options in the game so that you can make the best possible choice.

It is also possible to give your party members new equipment. To do this, go to your inventory and press left or right on the D-pad to switch between party members. It is possible to give new pieces of armor to members of your party and to give new weapons to some of them.

Finally, you can talk to your party members at any time by approaching them and pressing the Invite button. This activity is important because members of your party may have important things to say that you may have forgotten to discuss with them.
