Fiat is changing, with a range of cars expected to evolve considerably, giving pride of place to city cars like the 500 and Panda that have gone electric, while the Tipo, available as a sedan and station wagon, could become an SUV. And in this context of changes, two models in the range disappear silently, namely Doblò and Qubo. The two cars to confirm this have disappeared from the Fiat website as they are no longer present in the configuration. From this it is clear that then the deliveries are now finished and it will therefore be necessary to go to dig into the stock, which begins to decline very seriously as the weeks go by, to purchase one of the last remaining models.
Doblo and Qubo retired from SUVs and CO2
Already relatively old, since Doblò was launched in 2010 and refurbished in 2015 and Qubo has been marketed since 2008 and rejuvenated in 2016, the group's small minivans have suffered in particular from competition from SUVs, which are increasingly difficult to counter. Furthermore, we recall that the Fiat Qubo shared its platform with its French cousins Peugeot Bipper and Citroën Nemo, also released from their respective catalogs.

The disappearance of these two models would also be linked to increasingly stringent European standards. And for good reason: since our political leaders want to limit CO2 emissions at about 95 g / km for the current year, Fiat should have carried out heavy upgrades on Doblo and Qubo engines, with related unprofitable investments for the brand. Also, if no changes are made, the 113-166 g / km of CO2 produced by two from the two minivans they would have significantly increased the average of the range, exposing Fiat to the payment of heavy fines. A risk that is therefore not really worth taking, also given the low number of units sold of these two models. So goodbye to Doblò and Qubo which at the moment will not be replaced by similar but less polluting models,
