Here's everything we know about MODOK in the upcoming Marvel's Avengers Game.
Everything we know about MODOK in Marvel's Avengers
What does MODOK mean and how is it a threat?
First of all, for those who don't know MODOK, its name is
for mechanized organism designed only to kill. Quite the name.
MODOK has a giant face and head in the comics. In the game, his
the head is much smaller, but still large for normal people. As you think,
with a bigger brain, MODOK is very intelligent. Not only is he smart, but he can
control the mechanical bodies with his mind.
What is he doing?
The Avengers have been blamed for the aftermath of A-Day
disaster which was shown at E3 2019. You can review the events of this in the
video below.
When the helicarrier crashes into this trailer, a bunch of Terrigen
the mists are expelled into the surrounding area of San Francisco, creating Inhumans, essentially
mutants, but not born with quirks. One of these victims is George Tarleton,
co-founder of the company AIM or Advanced Mechanics of Ideas. Tarleton, crazy about
the Avengers for its current state, begins capturing Inhumans and torturing
in search of a cure and takes the name of MODOK.
MODOK instilled fear in the public of Inhumans and people
with superpowers in general. He considers them to be uncontrollable and deadly
threat. He uses his power and his company to create an army of robots for the sole purpose
to capture and eliminate anyone with superpowers.
While MODOK looks a lot smaller in-game than usual
appears, don't be surprised if as the story progresses it slowly becomes
closer to its original design.
