For a new era of Xbox hardware, the “Xbox Games Showcase” was certainly a fitting event for the console maker to ensure fans have tons to play when the Xbox Series X is released. With two dozen games presented at the conference, it will be difficult for those who missed it to keep up with everything that is soon to be launched. So here is the definitive list of every game revealed or deepened in the series.

Halo: Infinite

Probably the most anticipated of the bunch, Halo: Infinity received an eight-minute gameplay trailer that kicked off a bunch of new weapons and enemies. “The scale of the environment is several times the size of the last two Halo games combined,” said game developer 343 Industries.

Fable

Playground Games has revealed a tease from what appears to be the next installment in the Fable series. Aside from Everwild, the footage was absolutely the most breathtaking. There is no release date yet, but it will launch on Xbox Series X and PC.

Forza Motorsport

A small trailer revealed that the next racing title in the series won't be Motorsport 8. Although captured on the X-Series, each car looked stunning as it circled around a traditional racing track. It will be developed by Turn Ten.

State of decomposition 3

Undead Labs is back, with the haunting reveal of State of Decay 3. Unfortunately, there was no gameplay footage, viewers saw what Zombie Deer on the X Series looks like, however.

Everwild

While we haven't seen Kanjo-Kazooie, Rare has dropped new footage from Everwild. There's still no information on what the game entails, but it sure is a beautiful game - perhaps the most of all the games in the presentation.

Tell me why

DONTNOD Games' new IP address is reminiscent of Life is Strange, in Art and History. The game tells the story of two Mexican-American brothers attempting to cross the Mexican border. Divided into separate chapters, the first will launch on August 27, with free access to those on the Xbox Games Pass.

The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon

On September 9, The Outer Worlds players will receive a dose of DLC coming to PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. The content will offer new story and weapon missions.

Declared

Also being developed by Obsidian, Declared appears to be a new fantasy RPG, which will launch exclusively on the Xbox and PC platforms. The featured images didn't say much, so don't wait for the title anytime soon.

The Dusk Falls

Developer Interior Night is full of former designers from Quantic Dream, so this title will sound quite familiar to you. The trailer points to a focused narrative about two teenagers trying to find each other, with some heavy drama to come.

Ori and the will of the goblin fires

Moon Studios made an entry, in the middle of the show, to simply say that their latest hit title will be optimized for the X series and will run at 120 fps.

Grounded

Obsidian delivered another reveal, but this one much lighter. Although we know of Grounded, it looks like the game will be optimized for Series X as well. For now, players can get its preview version on Xbox Games Pass on July 28, 2020.

Psychonauts 2

A new trailer for the sequel has been shown, alongside the revelation of Jack Black's return. Additionally, the images indicate that the game will not be ready for launch until 2021.

Destiny 2

It looks like PlayStation has lost its grip on Bungie, as the developer takes Destiny 2, along with all of its DLC (especially Stasis), on Xbox Game Pass. It was also said at the event that the game will receive an edition that bolsters the visuals of the Xbox Series X.

Stalker 2

The survival sandbox game will apparently make its way to the next-gen Xbox, but it's unclear when. however, the video shown proves the hype for his eventual arrival.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Vermintide will finally receive the follow-up treatment in the form of Dark Side. However, the four-player co-op shooter will be a timed exclusive to the X Series, coming 2021, according to the trailer.

Connected Tetris effect

Rejoice, Xbox owners! Tetris Effect will now become a user-friendly title, in the form of Connected Tetris Effect, which will make its way across all Xbox platforms this year. It will offer a new multiplayer experience, not yet seen in its VR edition.

The crasse

Beloved Swedish developer Image & Form is temporarily stepping away from Steamworld, making way for the sci-fi exploration adventure game, Grime. The trailer indicated it as both an Xbox Series X and One game, but no release was mentioned.

The way

New footage from Bloober Team's latest horror title has been shown. It explores the dual realities the protagonist struggles with and gives fans a vacation 2020 release date to stick to. It will be available on the Xbox and Steam platforms.

New Genesis: Phantasy Star Online 2

New Genesis may or may not be a remaster of the sequel. This part is unclear. However, he looks truly stunning on the X Series, as gamers will finally be able to see it all in 2021.

CrossfireX

The developer of Remedy, for now, is abandoning full narrative experiences for the time being, as it will release the new multiplayer-focused first-person shooter this year on Xbox One and Series X. The footage given to fans seems to indicate that an intense campaign has also been added to the game.
