Call of Duty: Modern Warfare released this week, but it hasn't been easy for the game. Different error codes, crashes and issues affected some players. One issue that seems to affect a lot of gamers is the Savannah error code. In this guide, we'll go over what we found out about this particular error code.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Savannah Error Code Explained
If you encounter an error while trying to join friends that end with the error code Savannah, the issue may boil down to which version of the game you are in.
"Unable to join the game session, the host cannot be joined, or the game is suspended. Status: SAVANNAH"
If you or your friends haven't installed the latest game update, you won't be able to join their lobby because they can't host users of different versions in the same lobby.
The main thing you need to do to try and resolve this issue is to make sure that your game is fully up to date. If you are playing on PlayStation 4, find the game in your library, press the Options button, then select "Check for Updates". The system will then download any available updates that are not yet installed.
On Xbox One, go to My Games, find the game you want to update, select Manage Games, then scroll to Updates. If you're playing on a computer, navigate to the game in your Blizzard app library, then click Options at the top of the game panel, then Check for Updates.
Hope this process will solve the problem for you. Otherwise, you can't try anything more, and you'll have to wait for Infinity War or Activision to fix the issue at the end.
