How to define capacities, both passive and active
You start out with a few jobs and abilities available, but as time goes on and you live further into the world of Bravely Default 2, you are swarmed with different passive and active abilities. If you didn't already know, let me tell you that you can use the abilities of every job you've unlocked up to this point, as long as you've leveled it up a bit to unlock that certain ability.
For example, you can set your main task to White Mage, but you can still set the “Pain into Gain” ability of the Vanguard tree as active. The only requirement is to unlock it, having the Job Vanguard at the level it needs.
Having said that, let's move on to our main topic. How to do Sets these capabilities. Start by going to "Capacities" tab in the menu, which is self-explanatory. From here you can click L or R to change between the desired characters to define the abilities. After choosing the one you want, you will see a small list with five locations, at the bottom left. Click on 'A' at any of these locations, and you'll be able to choose any unlocked ability of a specific character. The full list of unlocked abilities will be displayed in the menu at the top right, so scroll left and right to choose a job and its respective ability tree, then click "A" again. This will activate that skill for that person, usable with any combination of primary and secondary jobs equipped.
After applying a Set Skill, looking at the list at the bottom left again, you will notice a number to the right of that Set Skill's name. This indicates the 'Cost' of each capacity. The cost indicates the number of slots the capacity will occupy. As a result, this means that you won't necessarily have 5 abilities activated, but rather skills that have a total cost of 5. While this may limit your choices, there is still a huge amount of combinations you can make and do. create a perfectly unique Work.
Bravely Default 2 is due out on February 26, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
