Here, we'll break down the brief list of available Wildcards and which ones to equip depending on your preferred playstyle. Remember that only one Wildcard can be equipped at a time per custom loadout.
Which wildcard to choose
Close danger (rank 4)
The Danger Close joker doubles the amount of lethal and tactical ammo and allows the operator to jump into the action with maximum weapon ammo. Being equipped with extra gear and full ammo reserves will definitely favor aggressive players. Those who opt for Stimshot Tactical Gear will be able to quickly recover twice per life.
Black Ops Cold War doesn't have the longest health regeneration times in Modern Warfare, but being able to heal on the spot can still make a difference in some fights. If you like to lead the pack or tend to be a lone wolf, grab this Wildcard (and some C4s).
Lawbreaker (Rank 21)
The Wild Law Breaker is the equivalent of Modern Warfare's Overkill Perk. An operator wearing this Wildcard can equip two primary weapons instead of the typical setup of a primary and secondary. The Wildcard works best for those who like to stay adaptable to situations on opposite ends of the engagement spectrum.
For example, complementing a Pelington 703 sniper rifle with an MP5 submachine gun allows the player to effectively engage at longer range without being completely vulnerable in narrower spaces. Better yet, going with Law Breaker doesn't prevent the player from choosing Ghost, as Overkill does in Modern Warfare. You can be sneaky and armed to the teeth.
With that said, keep in mind that Black Ops Cold War puts the deadly close-quarters shotguns into the secondary weapon category. The Law Breaker Wildcard will appeal the most to those who have become fond of their Warzone meta loadouts.
Gunfighter (rang 27)
The Gunfighter Wildcard breaks the limits of the five attachment slot limit. Three additional slots open, allowing selection within each accessory category. Some weapons can be integrated into Unstoppable Beasts by exceeding the normal Attachment Limit. This M16 load, for example, comes to mind.
Chances are, this Wildcard is where we'll see the emergence of balance-breaking weapons rise up the meta-list. Those who like to research stats to discover the best possible weapon setups will be drawn to Gunfighter.
Advantage Greed (Rank 35)
The Perk Boon wild doubles the number of Perks that can be equipped at a time. By default, the player is forced to choose one advantage per list, including three. This Wildcard grants two selections per category, allowing a combination of six advantages.
Stealth Operators will no longer be forced to choose between Ghost and Cold Blooded. Bundling free perks can dramatically improve your passive prowess, providing a noticeable benefit. There's quite a bit of mixing and pairing to do here. Whether you are more inclined to use silence or noise, there are some powerful combos behind Perk Greed.
