You can immerse weapons in certain parts of the environment to add additional damage and effects to your attacks. For example, you can immerse your weapon in nearby fire to add flames to your attacks. You can do this with just about any weapon, not just the traditional weapons you might expect like arrows. Fire is pretty much the only status effect during the early parts of the game, but you'll find new things to dip your weapons into later in Baldur's Gate 3. Dipping Your Weapon is a bonus action, so look for it next. of your other. bonus actions like Hide and Shove.
Diversify your party
It usually goes without saying, but having a diverse party is extremely important in Baldur's Gate 3. If you are a melee-focused sword user, try to find a friend with a bow. Make sure that you also have someone who can use magic in your party.
