Christmas Season: River Raids game mode
We've added in-game river raiding support.
- Prepare your Jomsviking team for this new, highly replayable mode that will take you to uncharted regions of England, full of raiding opportunities. New loot, rewards and challenges await the Raven clan!
- River Raids mode is part of the Yule Season content. It's free to all Assassin's Creed® Valhalla players, and can be accessed in-game after downloading title update 1.1.2.
New Capabilities
- Piège berserker:This attaches a trap to your arrow, spewing hallucinatory powder. Any movement nearby triggers the trap. Surprise the distraught passers-by!
- War cry:In a fit of rage, Eivor lets out a bloodcurdling scream, gaining strength and causing nearby enemies to recoil in fear, interrupting their attacks.
- Shoulder kick:Eivor performs a shoulder shot that repulses enemies and destroys objects.
New skills
- Assassin Carry:Automatically transport a body after a successful assassination.
- Assassin's slide:Slip into enemies and throw them off balance while sprinting.
- Power stroke:Trigger a speed boost on the long ship at the expense of stamina.
- Plundering arrow:Eivor has a higher chance of looting arrows from archers.
- Fight ready:Always start a fight with an adrenaline-filled slot.
- Long vessel brace:When you are in command of the long ship, the crew will raise their shield with you.

Diverse
- Runes and resources used to upgrade Berserker gear will return to the player's inventory when an item is lost.
- Improved vibration feedback while fishing.
- Fixed an issue that caused players to exit Disguise Mode if players perform an attack while rolling.
- Addressed an issue that prevented players from catching fish at sea or on shore.
- Fixed an issue that caused schools of fish to take a long time to respawn after capture.
- Items purchased from the Animus Store will not be given to players until they return to England from Vinland.
- Changed the predator charge attack animations to give players a little more time to react.
- Addressed an issue that prevented Fabric from being available.
- Added purchase date to items listed in store owned section.
Balancing
- Removed diamond rune slots on non-torso gear. Runes that were inserted there will be returned to the player's inventory.
Graphics, audio and animation
- Resolved various graphics or lighting issues.
- Fixed various texture issues.
- Fixed an issue that caused the explosion VFX to fail when exploding jars of oil. Oil jars will now skyrocket.
- (PS4 ™ / PS5 ™) The Muspell Warg mount will now burn with the Fires of Hel!
- The blood of your enemies will now stain all clothing.
- Fixed various character or NPC animation issues.
- Addressed various clipping issues.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the visual effects of the Draugr set from being displayed.
- Fixed an issue that caused arrows to disappear from the quiver after re-equipping the bow from inventory.

- Fixed an issue in Storming the Walls preventing players from completing the quest. Gunnar has decided to join the festivities in Samhain's First Night, allowing players to complete the quest.
- Fixed an issue that allowed the killing of NPCs from The Good Men of Sherwood World Event.
- Jomsviking gear will now correctly display its quality in the customization page.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Jomsviking to change shape and size in the menu when recruiting.
- Randvi is ready to hear the news after completing the Sciropescira arc, allowing the alliance to be concluded.
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from interacting with Tove after completing Carrying the Torch.
- Fixed an issue that caused some dice to be reused when both players used Divine Favor by giving 3 extra dice.
- Addressed an issue with the Fishmonger encounter that would prevent the quest from being marked as complete after confirming the kill.
- Players will no longer be ashed if they escape before fighting the bard in The Devil Has All the Best Pieces.
- Players loading a save created after hitting in clues and puzzles, will now be able to complete the objective.
- Addressed an issue in the Extended Family that prevented the boss from dealing damage during underground attacks.
- Addressed an issue in the Extended Family that prevented the Boss from getting stuck near walls, staying underground, or not fully engaging in combat.
