And conversely, Zoom or Cisco Webex users will be able to join a Teams video conference without leaving their environment. This possibility will be available from this year. Next year, Bluejeans and GoToMeeting services will be added.

Microsoft Teams Room devices could already support this feature for a few weeks by allowing direct one-click participation in meetings hosted on Cisco Webex or Zoom, much like you would join a Teams meeting. All you have to do is configure the Exchange Online mailbox of the device to process invitations to third-party meetings (link, calendar).

On Zoom or Cisco Webex, you must have integrated the links to Teams meetings into your calendar and authorize the Support for third-party conference calls for Zoom rooms. You then select the Microsoft Teams web client meeting support on Zoom rooms check box to allow invitees to participate directly in Microsoft Teams. You can then click on the invite and join the meeting on Zoom or Teams in the same way.
