Looking for a new college sports game is like looking for water in the desert these days. Since EA Sports' NCAA Basketball 10, fans have only hung on dead air. However, the abandoned year of the god which is 2020 somehow gives NBA 2K users their first taste of the virtual college ball in over a decade, according to the latest trailer for NBA 2K21.

Above all, the video works like a hype trailer that doesn't offer much. However, a small detail caught our eyes. At 1:16 a.m., an unknown player, wearing a University of Florida jersey, is pictured with the word "career" inscribed on the screen. While not being said frankly, it certainly looks like NBA 2K21's career mode, MyCareer, will start users off in college.

Previously, the past stories of NBA 2K MyCareer started users in the NBA G-League or lesser-known international leagues. With just the hint of one college team, don't expect to see all 350 Division 1 teams. Now that the games have to ask each school separately for their name and likeness, Florida would likely be the one. one of the few universities included. Recently, EA announced that Madden 21 will see 10 college football teams added to the game - but also only to its career mode.
We hope that varsity teams will be playable in other modes of NBA 2K21, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Fans of the series will likely receive more news about it soon, as this new 2K installment hits shelves on September 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC - with a number of different editions.
