Mario Kart Tour is a good start. Players love the Mario Kart feel in the game, the constant challenges they have to overcome to unlock and the number of courses in the game and those that arrive. However, despite being a popular mobile title, some gamers are still experiencing crash issues. Why does Mario Kart Tour keep crashing?
The biggest problem some gamers might run into is not having a powerful enough phone. Playing Mario Kart Tour, Nintendo recommends that you use these types of smartphones to play the game:
- An iPhone 6s or higher
- A 7th generation iPad or higher
- A 5th generation iPad, Air 2, Mini 4 or newer
- Any iOS device running iOS 10.0 or higher and an Android compatible with OS 4.4 or higher
Unfortunately, Nintendo's website doesn't list a specific amount of Android like they did for Apple products. However, if you've bought your phone in the past three or four years, you might have enough 4.4 OS installed.
If you are using any of the above devices or operating system on your smartphone and you are still having crashes, it could be your internet connection. To make sure you're optimizing the connection, turn off your phone and sign back in. You can also go home and manually restart your Internet connection. It could have something to do with your supplier.
Another reason why so many gamers are experiencing these issues is that the game is brand new. Mario Kart Tour released early Wednesday morning, and many people jumped at the chance to participate in the fun of the race. Unfortunately, Nintendo servers may not be able to support so many connections at once. The development team behind the title has worked hard to get fixes into the game to support the title's servers, but they may not have fixed the issue. It will take them a few weeks to get everything under control.
The alternate reason is that the game has several different errors. Number 805-9056, error 805-9314 and 806-7250 are some of the few players encountered on day one. Some players still have issues with those and more.
