Fortnite Chapter 2 of Season 3 introduced a new map that we can all play on. The old map was flooded, largely covering it in water, buying or destroying old POIs, and introduced new ones to explore. One such new area is the Fortilla, which can be found in the southwest corner of the map.
La Fortilla is a huge floating fort, the sort of thing some people would build if they had properly embraced the end of the world. You can either go directly to the location from the battle bus or swim there if you land nearby. La Fortilla is absolutely huge and is one of the funniest areas in the game right now.
It's divided into different parts, each one is a maze of hallways and stairs, and there is a lot of loot to be found. La Fortilla is also the home of Ocean, the boss of the region, and she'll drop the Burst Assault Rifle and Bottomless Pitcher when you kill her. She will also drop a Vault Key Card, which will open a Vault in one of the towers, giving you access to massive amounts of items, weapons, and ammo.
Be careful, however, as the vault door is guarded by two sentries who will kill you very quickly if you hit them. La Fortilla is a great place to spend there, especially if you like to combine having a lot of equipment early on with a lot of fighting early. There is a good chance that you will stumble upon Fortilla and realize that you will be well prepared for a winning match.
