Is Disney + coming to Nintendo Switch?
The good news for Switch owners who want to get their fix of Disney classics on whatever console they choose is that a Disney Plus launch on Switch is very likely to happen in the future. This isn't just wishful thinking - Disney itself has already hinted that it will bring its new streaming service to Nintendo's hybrid console even before the service launches.
During a presentation for investors ahead of the Disney + release, Disney announced which platforms the streaming service will be available on at launch and also shared an image with some of those platforms. With confirmed platforms like the PlayStation 4 and Chromecast, the image included the Nintendo Switch. At the time, Disney said he hoped to have Disney + on the Switch in the future, but that didn't go so far as to say he already had a deal with Nintendo.

The bad news is that no one knows when Disney + will be available on the Nintendo Switch, assuming it does. The lack of concrete details, however, is no reason to give up hope. Disney has been quite slow with the rollout of Disney +, and it still plans to expand the service in the future. Disney + launched on November 12, 2019 in select territories, including the United States and Australia, but only entered several European countries such as Germany and Austria on March 24, 2020. It is expected to launch in France on April 7 and move to other territories in the summer of 2020.
