If you have an account iCloud you must know that you can also use it to transfer data between an iPhone and another iPhone, or to another iOS device. If you don't have an iCloud account you could use iTunes or another software to transfer files from one iPhone to another. For more info read the article: Migrate data from old to new iPhone
However, below we focus on the use of iCloud to perform this copy and data transfer operation. Here are the simple steps to follow:
1. From your iPhone, access the Settings options and then select the iCloud item. Here you will see another option named Storage & Backup. Make sure the option iCloud Backup is on, as shown in the figure below. Creating the backup can take some time, depending of course on the amount of data stored on your iPhone.
2. As soon as the backup ends you will need to turn on the new iPhone and complete the installation and setup wizard (selecting your language, country and location services). Also make sure you set up and activate your network Wi-Fi access.
When prompted, select "Restore from iCloud Backup”And go on entering your Apple ID and its password.
3. At this point you will see a screen from which you will have to select the backup made in step 1 and related to your old iPhone. Select this backup file, click on the top RESET and wait for the restore operation to finish. Even for recovery, the timing depends on the mode of data present in the backup file of your old iPhone.
4. The last step is to restart the phone immediately after the reset. Then connect the iPhone to the computer and synchronize with iTunes to import any music files, videos and apps that may not have been present in the iCloud backup. That's all!
