Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go, is introducing a new feature that allows players to browse inside the eggs. This will make it easier to see which pokémon can hatch from some eggs. Let's find out together how to take a peek.
Pokémon Go and the eggs: which pokémon will be released?
Tapping one of the eggs in your inventory will open a small list of all the Pokémon that could "be born" from it. Each monster is classified according to its own rarity. Pokémon indicated with an egg icon will be the most common, while those with five eggs will be the rarest.
Eggs have been one of the most controversial elements of Pokémon Go. Niantic was previously criticized for very low hatching rates of some pokémon, especially since some monsters - such as Happiny, which is available as Shiny as part of the game's spring event - can be obtained only through the eggs.
This new feature should give players a clearer idea than is likely that some eggs produce certain pokémon.
The aforementioned Spring event lasts until today, April 8th. As part of it, spring-themed Pokémon, such as versions of Pikachu e Chansey with the flowers crown, appear more frequently in nature. One is also available Spring Collection Challenge which instructs players to catch certain monsters before the end of the event.
After the spring event, the April Community Day will take place on Sunday 11th April. This month's star Pokémon is Snivy, the grass-type starter of Pokémon Black and White. After that, Niantic will hold an event Rivals' Week from 13 to 18 April. This will introduce several new monsters to the game, including Gen 6 pokémon Skrelp e Clauncher, as well as Therian Forme Landorus.
