In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there is a lot of talk (or should we say debate) about which villagers are the best and the worst characters. But what about special characters?
The special characters are not villagers, but rather provide you with some sort of mission, event, or service, like running a store or hosting a vacation. (And if you're wondering, no, Zipper won't be near this list.)
12. Timmy and Tommy

11. Saharah

5. Tom Nook

4. Mabel
Image via NintendoBlathers is a museum curator at Animal Crossing. He is also a character's darling. He falls asleep during the day and reads at night. He loves fish, loves fossils and hates Bugs. It's as fun to make him happy as it is to disgust him. It is always a joy to talk to him.
2. Flick
Image via NintendoWhen it comes to Animal Crossing, there's only one character that can't be beat… New Horizon's own Resident Services Clerk: Isabelle. No matter how we weighed him, this adorable, spirited dog had to be number one. She lights up our islands every day with her morning announcements and is arguably the most popular character in the franchise right now.
Honorable mentions: Orville, Sable, Labelle, and Kicks are some of the special characters that have appeared just short of the list.
