Il Nexus 10 (from 399 euros upwards) offers a 10-inch display. The coating and the material used is not as valuable as the aluminum one of the iPad, but with its 600 grams of weight it is much lighter than the latter and can be held comfortably in the hand.
The display offers well a third more pixels than the iPad 4.
All both video and photo files are reproduced sharply and with richness of detail. In direct comparison with the iPad 4, the screen appears perhaps less sharp and with slightly faded colors, but it must be said that the texts of the web pages are seen very well and the touch screen appears very fast in the response and without delays.
SMART TAB O NEXUS 7?
For those looking for a 7-inch tablet with Android system, now too Vodafone use that operating system on his Smart Tab 2, for sale at 190 euros. You immediately notice that this is an inexpensive tablet. But the weight is surprising: a good 400 grams.
However, a not positive feature of this tablet is represented by the display, which is only 1.024 x 600 pixels, too little to have a clear reproduction of movies and video files in general.
Furthermore, another negative aspect is that the Smart Tab 2 takes too long to switch from landscape to portrait mode.
CONCLUSIONS: Those looking for a tablet with a large Android system and at the same time wanting the guarantee of a huge choice of Apps, should definitely move towards the Nexus 10, which at this price is certainly the best choice.
If, on the other hand, a 7-inch screen is enough, Vodafone's Smart Tab 2 is not up to the Nexus 7, which is only a little more, but it is lighter and offers sharper and brighter colors.
