Rilakkuma Farm Android is the latest boost in the farming genre that once rocked web browsers and people's hearts. However, the genre is not dead and it has its own share of the mobile gaming market today, like the others. The games going on are the traditionally easy going pastime delights, and so it is with this title.
Development and reception
This title is brought to us by Imagineer Co. as a free casual game with in-app purchases. It obviously targets a large audience and fans of the farm simulator genre, mainly children, the elderly and non-traditional people of the game genre. On Google Play, Rilakkuma Farm Android already has over 4k votes and a fantastic 4,2 star rating which is very positive for a casual game. On the iTunes App Store, this game has an even better 4,4 star rating out of over 6,6k and it's # 40 in Family, and we're guessing the broadest definition of its kind would be this.
If you're unfamiliar with the franchise's background, Rilakkuma Bear is a fictional character whose name appears across an entire toy line and franchise, produced by San-X. Now, San-X is a Japanese marketing company that is behind the posts of similar characters, like Tarepanda, Sumikko Gurashi, Kogepan, and others.
However, the Rilakkuma bear is created by Aki Kondo, a famous Japanese designer and illustrator. Mr. Aki was previously employed by San-X and he is credited with creating and producing characters like Amaguri Chan, Mikan Bouya and even a manga comic called "Okutan & Danna chan". However, this bear is perhaps his most notable work and it was released in 2003. It has spawned a multimedia franchise in addition to the merchandise, and even his own stop-motion animated series Rilakkuma and Kaoru, which aired recently in 2019.
story
The farm is run by Rilakkuma and his friends, who started their scheme because they expect an all-you-can-eat buffet. When they arrive at the farm, they find it empty ... deserted, and there is only one letter left that says the following:
“Urgent business has arisen, so I'm going to have to leave this farm for a while. It is therefore to you, who found this letter, that I am leaving this farm. But do not worry! I have summarized how to take care of this farm in this letter. If you run the farm well, you will have all the goodies you can eat.
Our fuzzy friends have no choice but to take matters into their own hands, as we do on our own.

The farm simulation combines several genres of easy-going games, such as cooking, decorating, owning a shop and other similar popular “little games”. It also features garden decoration and home evolution, which includes aesthetics and is quite a rewarding experience for people who traditionally enjoy these farming simulations.
Graphic
High-end graphics are obviously not a goal for this title as the whole game with its models, animations, environment and everything that is visible has this minimalist cartoon style, adapted to the characters. It is also reminiscent of traditional farming games in a visual style.

The Rilakkuma Farm mobile game marks the continued growth of the entire franchise and keeps farm simulations and family games relaxed. It aims to be a fun pastime, suitable for a wide range of audiences. What the game is about is intuitive and easy to understand, which means it is ideal for people who are new to the genre, mobile games, and gaming in general. And, its replayability will certainly suit the needs of anyone who floats their boat like this.
