How To Maximize Your Friends Faster | Buddy Heart Farming Tips
To unlock upgrades for your Pokémon Buddy, you'll need to complete Daily Activities - you can only complete one activity per day, and each can give you heart. But you can trade your Pokémon Buddy up to 20 times per day. This means that you can (slowly) level up to level 21 Pokémon Buddy at a time.
You can earn 10 hearts per day per buddy - or 20 with the excitement bonus, but that's rare. the best upgrade unlock is the 'Great Buddy'Upgrade, which always returns a Pokeball. I suggest aiming "Great Buddy"For most Pokémon - if you want to continue you can get" Best Friend "for your favorites, but it will take the longest.
The trick to speeding up hearts is to find the easiest ways to earn them. You can very quickly earn 4 Hearts for 21 Pokémon in a matter of minutes by completing these activities.
- Easy Daily Buddy Hearts:
- Feed the berries
- To take a picture
- Play with your Pokémon
- Battle (enter a leader battle then surrender immediately)
If you have a leader battle available, simply step into the battle to win the heart. Then you can go back and still earn your heart reward. Complete all other simple activities with your Pokémon, then trade with your others to grind them up with this round of battle. Just make sure to go into battle with your buddy in location # 1.
Other types of heart activity can take a very long time - walking can win hearts, but you will have to walk a very long distance. Sometimes it's better to focus on the easy things. It will take you less total playing time, but more days to max out your friends. It's just the least time consuming method.
To speed up the process, you can also purchase a Limited Time Poffin - a special berry that costs coins in the shop. Give it to a Pokemon, and for a while it will be more susceptible unlock an excited emotion bonus. It's not strictly required, but if you have a particular Pokémon that you want to gain buddy levels with faster, it's a good buy. If you have the parts.
