Functional and super-economical, the Onikuma K1 are the gaming headphones produced by Millso and designed for all those who do not want to spend excessive amounts to take home a good headset. Of course, they are not perfect, but at less than 30 Euros they are still a good solution.
A question of position
Of course, the low price requires the use of plastic. This means that once taken in hand the feeling will certainly not be that of a Premium product but this does not mean that the headphones are not well made. In reverse, the build quality is excellent and the bow turns out soft and quite comfortable. The pavilions deserve a separate discussion. The memory foam in fact it certainly makes them pleasant even in the long term, as long as you manage to find the right position. The first tests with the Onikuma K1 in fact turned out to be unsuccessful. In fact, the feeling was that you were wearing something annoying and decidedly uncomfortable, capable of pressing on the head and ruining the experience of use. After a few attempts, however, I managed to identify the perfect position, at least for me, which allowed me to use them for a few hours without wishing to remove them and interrupt the game session.
We also have available a flexible directional microphone which can be lowered or raised according to your needs. But be careful: the mechanism is jerky and you will have to exert a little force to be able to move it, furthermore remembering to keep the headphones still with the other hand, otherwise you will risk accidentally taking them off.
The cable, on the other hand, is made of nylon, braided and of excellent workmanship, designed to avoid knots and tangles. At your disposal then you have a double 3,5 mm jack, for headphones and microphone, and a USB that serves only to activate the LEDs present on the two pavilions and on the tip of the microphone. Also included is a splitter which allows you to merge the two jacks; this will allow you to use the headphones even on consoles, with PCs with only one input and with smartphones and tablets.
Finally, I would like to point out the presence of a dongle, dongle which, to be honest, I didn't particularly appreciate. Located along the cable and, in my opinion, unnecessarily large, this component helps you to turn the microphone on and off and to adjust the volume. The operation of the ring, however, is unusual: rotating it down will raise the volume, while performing the opposite movement will raise it. Nothing serious, but it will take you a few days to get used to it.
How do the Onikuma K1 behave?
Once plugged in, this headset takes advantage of i driver from 50mm to neodymium to offer a rich and crystal clear sound, perfect for playing and immersing yourself in any battle. They are also not bad when watching a movie or listening to some good music although, of course, we are far from those headphones designed primarily for audiophiles.
[
In short, they perform well on the pitch. Sure, the Onikuma K1s aren't everyday headphones, at least for me, but they're absolutely ideal for gamers who want save without giving up good quality audio, a modern design and a microphone absolutely suitable for the purpose.
