Description
Films and TV is the free multimedia software included by Microsoft in its Windows 10 operating system. Particularly dedicated to playing video files, it has a modern interface.
By default on Windows 10, video files (AVI, MKV, MP4, etc.) open in Films and TV. This player offers basic reading functions, it identifies the different audio tracks and the subtitles. It allows in one click to create a thumbnail of the player that stays on top of all other applications, in picture-in-picture mode.
Movies & TV can play recorded files from your computer or removable storage, and from a media server connected to your network. Its home screen is particularly linked to the Microsoft Store, and offers to buy or rent movies and series.
