It is a smartphone that costs less than € 200, able to offer good technical characteristics and good build quality. Perhaps it is not a top of the range, but it is perfect for those who want to spend little and have a product that can perform all basic functions.
Are you curious to find out more about the new Motorola Moto G10? Here are all the details in our review.
Motorola Moto G10: the review
Good content and good quality for the introductory price
Before going inside ours Motorola Moto G10, let's start our review by taking a brief look at the outside. The smartphone is sold in a package rather in line with the rest of the market, within which we find the mobile phone itself, a power pack da 10W, one USB-C / USB cable, one silicone cover, a paper clip to remove the sim and the headphones black color.
Aesthetically, despite being a non-high-end product, the Moto G10 features a good balance of materials and shapes. The mobile is made up of plastic in its rear part, but this is by no means anonymous. The Retro, in fact, it presents some where really pleasing to the eye. They move sinuously almost as if they were footprints left in a Zen garden. I'm slightly in relief and pleasant to the touch. The surface does not seem to capture too much dust, nor hold fingerprints excessively. Excellent, then, the IP52 certification, which guarantees resistance to splashes.
Motorola Moto G10 structure and display
La build quality isn't bad at all, indeed, right from the start it seems to be dealing with a quality product. The Motorola Moto G10 is quite large, not easy to use with one hand and not really light. The weight, in fact, is about 200 grams. These, however, are still well balanced along the entire surface.
Motorola Moto G10 - Smartphone 128GB, 4GB RAM, Dual Sim, ...- Display: 6.5", 720 x 1600 pixel
- Processor: Snapdragon 460 1,8 GHz
- Camera: Quad, 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP
On the screen there is the camera front, while on the back we find that back. His bulk is not excessive and is confined to the left side. In the center, at the top, we find the classic Motorola logo. On the left side there is space for the sim, while on the right side there are three buttons: the volume management key, the Google Assistant key and the one dedicated to the on and off functions.
What has us convinced less during our review of Motorola Moto G10 is perhaps the screenor. We have a display 6,5 "IPS with resolution 720 x 1600 pixel (HD+). The combination IPS and resolution not excellent gives a small downgrade for those who are used to other types of screens and you notice it right away. Of course, this isn't such a big flaw, considering the price range, but the difference compared to other smartphones is noticeable. Another small point against is the oleophobic treatment: unfortunately, in fact, the front screen captures a lot of fingerprints. An irrelevant detail if you use a protective film, a little more relevant if you are used to using your cell phone naked and raw.
Let's go into the details of the review: this is how the Moto G10 is done
After taking a look at the aesthetic part, it's time to immerse ourselves in our product. Motorola G10 it consists of a processor Snapdragon 460 with 8 cores of 1,8 GHz, accompanied an Adreno 610 GPU. As for the RAM this is equal to 4 GB, while we have a large storage space: 128 GB. Furthermore, memory is expandable with a microSD. What must be taken into consideration, however, is that to expand it, it is necessary to give up the dual SIM.
As for the other characteristics, however, we have a Wi-Fi dual band, a 4G connectivity, chip NFC e Bluetooth 5.0.
Excellent battery, from 5000 mAh, which allows great autonomy. The mobile phone is able to withstand hours of intense use; we never struggled to reach the end of the day. The 10W power supply allows for a not-so-fast recharge, but the Motorola Moto G10 has an interesting feature: optimized charging. If you charge your mobile overnight, the last 20% will be finished just before the alarm clock, which will help keep the battery alive longer.
At the software level, however, we have a smartphone with Android 11. This is a version that is not completely customizable (like the MIUI of Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro), but with some customization inside. Very nice feature and very much appreciated.
A photographic sector a bit to be reviewed
Another point not fully satisfactory during the review of Motorola Moto G10 is the photographic sector. In detail, we have a 48 MP main which, however, is not able to fully capture every detail. The overall quality isn't bad, yet something seems to be missing. Of course, for the price, we couldn't expect anything excellent, so we're not that disappointed either. It is a smartphone designed to be able to perform functions well, without excelling too much.
Motorola Moto G10: Who Should Buy It?
Il Motorola Moto G10 is a perfect product for those who need an inexpensive mobile phone. It is made up of good materials and has great features for the price it is sold at. Excellence is not expected, but it certainly did not disappoint. There are many great features, a good hardware compartment and several functions. Among the less convincing aspects we have a display not up to the standard of other smartphones and a decidedly improvable camera. Overall, however, with less than 200 €, we take home a phone and it can safely perform all basic functions, without the slightest grimace.
