We have choosen 10 titles, including TV series and films to watch as a family. We felt inspired by Mother's Day and thought "what movie do they watch with mom?" and so we made a selection of contents that deal with the parent-child relationship. We thought about movies and TV series for all ages, for young and more mature families.

1. The classic of the classics: A mother as a friend
The famous TV series about the lives of Lorelai Gilmore and daughter Lorelai also called “Rory” Gilmore. The story shows the mother and daughter relationship as a relationship of friendship. 2. That crazy Friday: the synthesis of the relationship between mother and adolescent children
A classic of the 2000s, with protagonists Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. This is the film adaptation of the novel and tells the story of a mother and daughter, who following a furious fight at the Chinese restaurant, thanks to two magical fortune cookies will be found in each other's cream. 4. This is us, the story of the Pearson family
This is us is an American TV series, set in three different timelines, between 1980 and the present. In 1980 we follow the events of Rebecca e Jack and the arrival of theirs triplets. In the present we see those three children, now adults, make their way in life and build their own family. A moving and real story, with problems, ups and downs, current issues and very subtle psychological representations. You can see the first four seasons are currently available on Amazon Prime Video.
5. My Sister's Keeper on Netflix
A story moving and strong, available on Netflix. Anna is eleven years old and is the result of an in vitro fertilization, for the sole purpose of saving the life of her sister Kate, suffering from leukemia. When Kate's health conditions require a kidney, Anna refuses to cooperate and seeks a lawyer. If you prefer you can read Anna's story in the book version.

6. The little lord a movie to watch as a family

9. A must watch movie: Maleficent
An interesting rereading of The Sleeping Beauty. The young woman Malefica is a beautiful woman withpure spirit who works to defend the kingdom from invaders. Unfortunately, she trusts the wrong man who betrays her, breaking her heart and making her a tough person. Love for a child, however, will make her understand what affection is. 10. For lovers of musicals: Mamma mia!
A musical that incorporates the music of Abba and stages family dramas in an ironic way. Donna is a single mother who raised her daughter alone on an island in Greece Sophie, now close to the wedding.
