Description
Minecraft fans, you can play your favorite game from anywhere with the mobile app for Android smartphones and tablets, iPhone and iPad.
For those who do not yet know the principle of the game, Minecraft is a "sandbox" type game, developed by Mojang, which allows you to build whatever you like, in a cubic universe. The geometric design of the elements may be surprising at first, but the endless possibilities of the game have won over millions of players around the world.
Several game modes are available. Creative mode lets you unleash your imagination and build anything you've always dreamed of - from fortified castles to pyramids, haunted houses and theme parks, you can do it all!
Survival mode launches you on a full-fledged adventure where your only objective is to survive, in a hostile universe populated by monsters and zombies. Finding resources, building a shelter, making weapons will be your main actions to be carried out in order to then be able to explore your environment.
New mods, addons and updates are regularly made to bring new elements and renew the experience of the game.
Note that Minecraft is also available on consoles and computers with Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems.
Why play Minecraft - Pocket Edition?
In Minecraft you will be able to create a world your way by building absolutely what you want. Note that you can create as many different worlds as you want and switch between them.
When you first launch Minecraft you don't have an existing world. You will therefore have to click on Create a World. Once you start playing Minecraft and earn coins, you will be able to create new worlds using the already existing themes which you can purchase in the store.
To create a new world from scratch you have a number of parameters to adjust according to your desires. Start by giving it a name, then choose a game mode between Survival and Creative (creative mode is not available in the demo version), the difficulty (Peaceful, Easy, Normal or Hard) and the type of world ( Infinite, Flat, Ancient). A whole series of other parameters are available (not in demo mode).
If you wish you can create a Multiplayer game and choose which users can connect to it (Friends, Friends of friends, everyone, etc.). This option is not available in the demo version on Android.
Your world thus created, set off on a discovery. The movement arrows at the bottom left of the screen allow you to move forward in the direction of your choice. To look around you just slide your finger across the screen. To interact with what is in front of you (including typing) you just need to click on it with your finger.
As you walk in this new world, you will collect raw materials that will serve you later. Note that to collect wood it is necessary to strike the trees by hand for a long time (for this, keep your finger on the tree). Your world is subject to the cycles of day and night. To see at night, you will then have to find something to make light.
The raw materials are often found on the ground in the form of cubes which turn on themselves, advance on them to recover them. Once you have found raw materials, they appear in your inventory (bar at the bottom of the screen). Go to the material creation menu (by clicking on the three small dots at the end of the line) and create the materials you need. For example with wood you can create boards, with which you can then build a shelter or furniture.
The game guides you step by step, the instructions are indicated on the screen. The first instruction is to collect wood, then gradually the game teaches you how to make objects: a workbench, a pickaxe, etc., which will help you in the rest of your adventure. If you put one of your materials or objects in the wrong place, you just have to destroy it to recover it in your inventory and be able to use it elsewhere.
All you have to do is build your house, look for new raw materials to create new items, etc. And if you come across hostile characters, don't forget to craft yourself a sword or any other form of weapon that suits you to keep them away.
You just have to give free rein to your creativity. The only limit is your imagination, especially if you go into creative mode. Remember to take care of yourself, indicators appear at the top of the screen: your level of food (if you are hungry) and your standard of living (especially on you have been attacked), followed by others indicators may appear.
Note that the demo version of Minecraft is only available for download for the Android platform. Owners of iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) only have the full version.
The players have 3 online modes: the “local” mode can accommodate up to 5 players on the same wifi network; connection to global servers not affiliated with publisher Mojang, which can accommodate an unlimited number of players; the Realms paid service which allows several players to play, even when the owner of the map is disconnected.
There are other Minecraft apps. Minecraft Education Edition is an educational version specially designed for classroom use, making Minecraft a teaching and learning tool. The functionalities are simpler and more accessible and in particular make it possible to take images (in JPG format) to present the construction work to the teacher. This version is based on the other version of Minecraft, named Bedrock. It differs from the Java version (the original version of Minecraft), by more dynamic graphics, a reworked terrain, exclusive items and an official system of addons, 4 connection modes, etc.
What's new in the latest version of Minecraft - Pocket Edition?
Like many current games linked to a practice on the Internet, Minecraft offers regular events, and often in relation to the seasons. These events allow players to have access to original items.
The game evolves mainly thanks to its community which regularly uploads new content.
For this summer 2021, immerse yourself in Update Part 1: Caves and Cliffs with creatures, blocks and fun new items! Venture underwater with an axolotl (a kind of small Mexican salamanders) and enjoy the soft light provided by the glowing octopus. So much for the bodies of water. And during your mountain explorations, be careful to avoid the goats because they have an easy horn! Finally, this update invites you to mine copper and use it for your structures, weapons and other useful tools. This rare resource, which can only be mined with a minimum stone pickaxe, can be smelted with a blast furnace to make copper ingots for crafting. Note that if you build your house with copper, it will oxidize over time and turn green.
