Often we don't notice, but what all those indicate icon present at the top of the status bar of our phone Android? It is important to distinguish them to better understand the functioning of our mobile phone, the network to which it is connected and the functions activated.

Roaming signal bars R - The telephone network is connected to a different network from that of our operator. Possible extra costs for calls when roaming.
LTE with arrows - You are connected to the Long Term Evolution (LTE) data network
4G with arrows - You are connected to the fourth generation data network (4G). Comparable to LTE. The theoretical download speed varies between 72 Mbit / s (9 MB / s) and 150 Mbit / s (18,75 MB / s) while in upload it can reach 60 Mbit / s (7,5 MB / s),
H + with arrows - You are connected to the Evolved High Speed High Speed Access (HSPA +) network. Download speeds between 42,2 Mbit / s (5,25 MB / s) and 56 Mbit / s (7 MB / s) can be achieved.
H with arrows - You are connected to the High Speed Access Downlink (HSDPA) network. This standard is the evolution of the classic 3G and allows theoretical speeds between 7,2 Mbit / s (900 KB / s) and a maximum of 14,4 Mbit / s (1,8 MB / s).
3G with arrows - You are connected to the third generation (3G) data network. With 3G, a maximum speed of 700 Kbit / s (90 KB / s) is reached.
And with arrows - You are connected to the EDGE data network. The speed has a range of 60-180 Kbit / s (7-20 KB / s).
G with arrows - You are connected to the General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) data network. In this case 20-40 Kbit / s (2-5 KB / s) in download are not exceeded
WiFi with arrows - You are connected to the WiFi network
WiFi with exclamation mark - Problem connecting to the WiFi network
Bluetooth B - Bluetooth is enabled
Circle with slash - Not connected to the network (no coverage or no SIM inserted in the phone)
Telephone - Incoming call
Phone with arrow - Missed call
Map route - GPS enabled
