How nice would it be to stop at a traffic light and not have to put your feet on the ground to keep the scooter upright? If all this sounds like science fiction, from today it is no longer. In fact, the Indian startup, Liger Mobility has managed to make a scooter stand on two wheels by itself and, moreover, it can be drawn towards you once it is parked.
This type of technology has been tried by other big manufacturers like Honda, but this is the first application I've seen of the gyroscopic technology used in a midsize scooter. In fact the technology developed by Liger Mobility makes a lot more sense for a small scooter than for a larger motorcycle. Smart gyroscope
Liger Mobility uses a gyroscopic system paired with some really smart electronic devices that send self-correcting pulses along the frame to keep the scooter from falling over. either with or without a pilot. Furthermore, once parked, the scooter can be recalled towards you simply with a voice command. For the moment the scooter will be offered only for the Indian market. But certainly this innovative technology could attract the attention of large manufacturers who could offer the same system on their scooters that will arrive on various international markets in the next few years.the.
