Knockout City, Electronic Arts' new dodgeball-based battle royale was free for all users until March 30th. If you missed this opportunity to try it, don't worry, because the company has decided to offer it to users an alternative way to play Knockout City completely free.
Knockout City free for new players
Starting today June XNUMXst, you can download Knockout City and play completely free until you reach level 25. Thanks to this initiative, new players will have the opportunity to try the title extensively, before deciding if they are interested in buying or not.
Of course, all progress made in the trial version will carry over to the full game and you will be able to continue playing exactly where you left off. We also point out that the title is included in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offer and that the multiplayer sector offers cross play functionality, to be able to play with anyone and on all platforms.
Knockout city si ispira al Dodgeball (or prisoner ball in Italian) and elaborates it in such a way as to make it similar to a shooter. The mechanics are simple: within the levels we will have to collect the balls and throw them at our opponents. Each player has two lives, after which he will be eliminated from the game. Exactly like in the original game then if we manage to catch the ball on the fly we will score and not vice versa.
Obviously, however, it does not end there, because we will be able to load the shots, pretend to throw and even transform our own body or that of an ally into a ball to be thrown at our victim. All in fast, fun and action-packed gameplay.
