Jazz Jackrabbit it's a platform game genre developed by Epic MegaGames (now Epic Games) in 1994 for MS-DOS.
Designed by Cliff Bleszinski 
and Arjan Brussee, the game is inspired by great classics such as Sonic The Hedgehog, Super Mario Bros. and Contra. Jazz Jackrabbit, thanks to its beautiful graphics and excellent speed, won the Arcade Game of the Year award. Its sequel, Jazz Jackrabbit 2, dates back to 1998. The plot centers around the war between hares and turtles, whose leader is the megalomaniac Devan Shell.
He intends to conquer the planet Carrotus and enslave the rabbits: to do this he kidnapped Princess Eva Earlong, who will be released only in exchange for the surrender of the rabbits. The only one who can save the princess is Jazz Jackrabbit, who is ready to hunt for Devan across the entire galaxy. THE levels of Jazz Jackrabbit are characterized by the classic pattern of jumping, collecting bonus items and eliminating enemies.
The shotgun owned by Jazz can be loaded with different types of bullets, while to complete each level you need to find the red sign with the image of Devan Shell and shoot a shotgun at it.
