PC gamers are getting ready for the release of Command and Conquer Remastered. The Command and Conquer HD Collection, Red Alert, and their expansions launches on June 5 - and PlayStation 4 fans are wondering if they'll be able to get their hands on them, too.

Will there be a PS4 port of Command and Conquer Remastered?
Image via ea.comThe Command and Conquer has appeared on PlayStation consoles of different generations. The original game was released for PlayStation in September 1995, and other titles - such as Red Alert - are available on PS3 and PS4 today.
As for a PS4 port of Command and Conquer Remastered, we've got some bad news. There are currently no plans to bring it to the Sony home console. Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Petroglyph are only bringing the collection to PC through Steam and EA's Origin platform. It sucks, but that's the lay of the land right now.
That's not to say that a PS4 port won't come in the future. You can link your EA Account to your PS4 account, and EA Access - Electronic Arts' subscription service - is also available on PS4 for a monthly or annual fee. EA could potentially bring Command and Conquer Remastered to EA Access down the line and make it available to PS4 users.
With the PS5 slated to launch later this year, Command and Conquer Remastered could also be selected for release. Whether it's a physical version or a digital port only, we'll be able to see it on consoles once the next gen is on the loose. For now, however, Command and Conquer Remastered is only playable on PC.
